Bryce Young never flashed last like Tua did and frankly looked overmatched at the same point Tua was beating UGA for a NC.

Bryce also didn't get spring or summer practices, like every other QB Saban has signed. Considering the limited practice time, yet he still best out Tyson, is pretty telling.

What the hell does this have to do with his ability to start at Quarterback for Alabama?

How someone was associated with the Bear is what got us in the spiral we experienced after his death. Imagine if Bobby Bowden had gotten the job instead of one of "Bear's boys".

If you want to talk about his height, weight, speed, throwing ability, leadership skills, talent, etc., then we'll listen.

Whether or not you are "kin to the Bear" is irrelevant.

Calm down alice... It was just an interesting fact. Not saying it makes him any better.

Trussville runs a modified Malzahn HS offense. 60/40 rush vs. pass and some seasons as high as 65/35 rush/pass. Tyson's senior year was the closest they came to being balanced. 56/44 rush/pass.

Tyson threw the ball just under 30 times per game with 30+ passing TD's both seasons as a starter.

That was not in the same universe as a Malzhan (winged-T) read-option scheme, it was a 3-4 receiver spread most of the time, ie. the Air Raid.

This big qb is the one to watch this year. I think he's the competition for bryson. Reports are that he's accurate, strong, and ready to roll. I think he'll be a good one and he's bear bryant's great grandson. I catch alot of flack because I haven't fallen for the hype on bryson. I'll remind you that I caught hell for saying mac attack was coming. Nobody believed me, but I was calling it at the end of last year. We'll see how it turns out. Like I said before, if I'm wrong I'll say I'm wrong.

he had a horrible OL that got abused all game long. Not sure how to grade him out based on that. But Young clearly is number 1. I assume in practice Tyson gets to compete with the first OL group.

They hyped up Tyson because of his name. Even when he had time the passes didnt look great.

You want to pull for Mark but I just don't see him as a starter at Bama. Had he played a series with the 1st team then we see a different picture then so maybe not. I do hope he sticks at Bama.

I'm willing to bet by September we will see this:

1) Young 2A) Milroe 2B)Tyson

If Milroe continue to develop throughout the summer and fall and get better, I expect him to get some snaps in this fall.

Tyson will get some opportunites as well, because I think Milroe is going to redshirt after 4 games, and then Tyson get more valuable experience just because. I"m little suprised Braxton hasn't moved up the depth chart, but hey its what it is.
