1. Does DeBoer have the toughness to take back control of this team, and make a move at QB so this team can begin healing and building for the future. (he could actually scrap this backyard offense, and begin installing his offense we brought him here to run)

2. Can anyone- players, fans, recruits, etc. take him seriously if he doesn't ?

This is a critical crossroad for DeBoer that may very well determine his success at Alabama. Will anyone anywhere be able to respect him if he doesn't make a move ?

How can you say that ? He left him the defending SEC Champs, and a top 3 loaded roster in all of football

Saban held that team to the most unbelievable of standards for 20 years.

He made the critical mistake of getting old, and recruiting a few cancers. The moment he realized his culture was being challenged by the LANK culture within the program he immediately did the honorable thing and retired.

Coach Saban is the unquestionable GOAT, his integrity, toughness, grit, perseverance, and determination to not be denied is beyond reproach.

The issues around Saban at the end were beyond his control. He stepped aside the instant he realized he could no longer control the situation which ended in yet another SEC Championship and losing in OT to the eventual champs.

Not bad for a guy being shown the door by this new era

There will NEVER be another Saban

I'd say 80 percent Milroe, 15 percent offensive line, 5 percent running backs.

Deboer will eventually have all of his players.
For better or worse.
We'll see then

People can keep saying he “left DeBoer a top 3 ranked roster” until they are blue in the face and it still won’t be true. The cupboard is not close to being bare by any means but the real sunshine pumpers are the ones who keep overestimating how good we are.

Curry at least won an SEC title and he never lost to 10rc.

He also left some good talent for Stallings.

OK, tell me how you be hard assed under the current rules where the players are no longer serfs. And "saying frick it and making a stand whatever happens" ain't gonna get it done.

Did you see Texas get destroyed in the trenches by UGA last night ?

Is the talent at Texas shite ?

Did you See Ohio State lose to Oregon ? Is Ohio State overestimating their talent ? lol

Dude, Alabama undeniably has a loaded roster. Name five teams that wouldn't trade rosters with Alabama.

They absolutely have a talented roster.

Right now I don’t think they have a national championship roster.

And what you posted actually states one of the things that is an issue right now even though our fan base won’t hear of it. Aside from the fact that caca happens in football, there is nobody head and shoulders above anyone else right now. If those two games were played again, the outcome could easily be different.

This will be our weakest draft since 2007.

Wrong.

What Saban left him is a roster filled with professional football players, he's not yet learned how to manage. He's never had a roster like this before. This season, he'll learn how to manage a legit professional football team (which is what Alabama is) and move forward.

I watch Kirby team bring the wood last night vs Texas, and after they stoned somebody they got up and robotically ran back to their position and prepared for the next play like real Jon Allen bad arse types.

DeBoer has opened the floodgates with all this celebrating and lack of discipline on the field. The culture is clearly eroding away by the week.

Meanwhile he smiles after losing to Vandy and tells everyone the team had a great week of preparation. LOL Can you imagine CNS or Kirby Smart doing that ?

Bro, he retired past the age of 70, and he could no longer hire the coaches he needed to maintain the standard. He most definitely did not "fold."

Where the hell is this lack of respect for the greatest coach in UA history coming from ?
