Why aren’t you keeping that same energy about this staff getting “outspent by Ole Miss, The Midwest and the Big 10”? Don’t flip now.

This staff has filled needs across the board and half of the people in this thread bitching and moaning are either quiet or are switching up now. Some of yall have way too much Roll Tide Willie in yall.

If this staff lands the USCe kid than there better be a line at the door of people apologizing.

No need to keep complaining. Im not extremely happy. Haha said production and we filled the d line with guys who dont have a lot of production but fit the system. Only thing we can do is wait and see.

When they stopped playing him, they completely stopped playing him. Completely.

Raw talent, I like what this defense looks like compared to 24-25 units. We ought to be an elite in the backend. I feel pretty good about the what the front + edge LB can be. Linebacker opposite Woodson the VT transfer is going to be QB Reese I'm guessing?

We're going to be A LOT more athletic on defense and pretty damn bulky.

Defense can be top5 good not just top10 good. Especially with the improvement in the Punting game (couldn’t be any worse), and hopefully a far more consistent run game offensively that will allow them to avoid being 1-dimensional and drive the football.

Both of those factors will help the defense (better field position and less possessions to defend), plus I think this is the best personnel they’ve had defensively.

They were #10 in scoring defense in year 1, and #2 in the SEC in yards allowed in year 2. I think year 3 is when they can be truly elite on that side of the ball. Everything depends on the offense getting better.

The Portal is now CLOSED.

This is good because it was being suggested we had a couple more guys who were leaning towards leaving.

If someone really wants to go... They'll find a way

If there's any one thing anybody should have learned in the Wild West of the NIL and Transfer.... That the rules don't apply at all lol

Just going to look a lot like the NFL

I disagree. At least in the NFL I know who the players drafted are and that they will be on my team for the next 4 years. What CFB is is certainly not the NFL. This is what will ultimately be the down fall of CFB. People will lose interest because a lot of rhe draw of CFBbis the connection the fans have to loaners whose careers they follow. The other part is when teams maybe even Alabama are unable to compete financially at the highest level, fans will lose interest if the season is over before it even starts.

The only two players I hated to see leave were Horton and Renaud. When Bama is done it will be clear that team-wide there has been an upgrade in talent.

Really young on the OL but I think the room is more of a fit top to bottom than last year. Hoping these guys come together quickly.

With the horrible blocking on our punt return unit, we could have the world’s greatest punt returner out there and he wouldn’t have been able to do much.

I blame special teams coaching 100% for that.

I missed that we signed the OG from Ole Miss yesterday.

Does anybody know about him? Depth or a dude?

We seem thin at WR. Horton leaving is the biggest head scratcher for me.

Yeah. Horton wasn’t a superstar but he was a really good player who I suspect would have been a more productive player in year 2
