You seen the HS vids of him running away from everybody?
Here
And I meant more that size with speed combo that Bo had maybe not as fast but his size/spd combo was unreal, so is Henry's IMO

Henry's probably a 4.5-4.63 guy. Anywhere in that range. He'll probably drop a tiny bit of weight here and there, but overall I don't think he has elite speed.

Ultimately I see Henry as Fowler's replacement long term so his listed speed is perfect for H-B/FB/Short Yardage RB.

What Henry is a 4.5-4.6 guy? He ran a 4.3 on ESPN.

We don't know what he is post injury.
Posted on 8/23/13 at 12:01 am to AllBamaDoesIsWin
He's way faster than 4.5
I will agree post-injury could be slower but all signs are pointing to no loss of speed from all accounts

Maybe so. I'm just spit balling based off of what I see him do. I hope he runs a 4.3, that wouldn't be fair.

The Opening he ran 4.32 then 4.38 I believe was made he didn't run 4.28 which he said he did at his HS

I think we are all faster when our High School coach times us
I think I even cracked before 5 once when my coach was timing me.

You didn't know this?
He's 6'3 245 with that laser timed speed too

I knew he had reportedly ran sub 4.5, but guys' HS numbers are usually exaggerated so I figured he was probably Lacyish.

Yea this was live TV. I mean they couldve pulled a fast one on us. Still cant believe that big white LB bested him with a 4.2.

Henry doesn't look like he is 243 pounds.

I need a link for that 4.32 time please.

According to this al.com article, Henry ran a 4.45 at The Opening.

still impressive, but pump the brakes on Bo Jackson comparisons. That's ridiculous. Bo was crazy fast for his size. (and also not as tall or heavy as Henry even at the NFL level.)

Henry, a 240-pound jumbo athlete, earned rave reviews for his athleticism at the event after posting a 4.45 forty time and a 42-inch vertical leap, the top mark at the event.

I cant find the video but he did it. Saw it with my own eyes.

kind of strange that it would happen and there be no mention of it anywhere on the Internet...

No results on google for Derrick Henry 4.32, every result of Derrick Henry 40 time and Derrick Henry The Opening reports a higher time.
Here is a link to another forum of people discussing The 2012 Opening while it was happening, and no mention of Henry running a sub 4.4.

Not saying you're wrong; I admittedly was not watching, but this discussion got me searching, and I'm not seeing it anywhere, despite numerous reports to the contrary.

-- RB Alvin Kamara (knee) was doing as much running and cutting we've seen him do in at least 10 days. He continued to wear a black, non-contact jersey but he was moving with a purpose.
-- NG Brandon Ivory (knee) continued to go through a handful of individual drills.
-- We mentioned late Thursday that Alabama has yet to settle on a third-string quarterback. Today, we saw that all three freshmen -- Luke Del Rio, Parker McLeod and Cooper Bateman -- were wearing No. 3 (Virginia Tech QB Logan Thomas) while AJ McCarron, Blake Sims and Alec Morris wore their normal jerseys.
-- Lots of notable freshmen not wearing scout team jerseys at today's practice: LB Reuben Foster, RB Derrick Henry, RB Altee Tenpenny, DL A'Shawn Robinson and DE Jonathan Allen were among the ones we spotted. (We only had one viewing period, so it was tough to survey everything in 7 minutes.)
-- CB Deion Belue mentioned Thursday that WRs ArDarius Stewart and Robert Foster were working with the scout team.
-- No changes on the offensive line. From left to right, it looks as if Cyrus Kouandjio, Arie Kouandjio, Ryan Kelly, Anthony Steen and Austin Shepherd will be the starting unit against Virginia Tech.
-- Looks as if Alabama is prepared to see redshirt freshman Trey Edmunds carrying the ball for the Hokies. Tyren Jones and least one other walk-on were wearing his No. 14. The Hokies, of course, have been hurt by a slew of injuries and could be short at running back, as J.C. Coleman recovers from two sprained ankles and Joel Caleb will serve a one-game suspension.
-- Some other popular scout team numbers of note: 24 (LB Tariq Edwards), 58 (LB Jack Tyler), 92 (DT Luther Maddy) and 42 (DE J.R. Collins).

I read elsewhere that Wilson Love wasn't at practice after practicing yesterday
