most of ours are not small and Vinnie is not a CB

Well majority of the corners that we have are smallish.
We only have 3 corners on scholarship who are under 6 feet tall and all 3 of them are 5'11".

WR Amari Cooper was back with the wide receivers and did not appear to be limited by his strained foot. He did more during today's first two periods than we saw him do all of last week.

Alex Scarborough ?@AlexS_ESPN 34m Does Nick Saban consult players before suspending players? RG Anthony Steen: "No, what he says goes."

Good thing Ivory's injury is minor, would have been a huge loss. Had me worried for 2 days.

What exactly is the issue with Darren Lake?

Has all the talent, needs to work on fundamentals and such.

Not to say that Steen's response was wrong, but Saban did let the team's "leadership committee" determine the punishment for Lee and Anderson when they got sent home from Miami.

TWO SENT HOME Alabama sent two freshman linebackers home late Friday night for breaking curfew, the first disciplinary action taken since the team arrived in South Florida.
The suspended players — Dillon Lee and Ryan Anderson — weren’t expected to play much of a role for the No. 2 Crimson Tide in the title game.
The team’s leadership committee, comprised of veteran players, recommended the decision to send the players home to Saban, who then executed it.

and *gasp* they actually PUNISHED them? Weird world

And the leadership council also had a say with Leon Brown and Duron Carter IIRC. But I don't know of any cases where the leadership council was used for a player who was arrested. I also don't know of any cases where the team as a whole voted on whether or not to punish a player.

I mean small as in dont weigh much and when they hit the QB it wont have to much of an affect. Never called Vinnie a CB.

I think he is one of the first freshman on the field on D when we start subbing players

I think there is a DE who will probably see PT before him..I would not be surprised if a frosh DE is on the two deep rotation
