Henry > Jones >>> Yeldon?

OMG WUT

Yeah, Henry's YPC leaves a lot to be desired. Yeldon probably only got few carries for durability reasons, don't want the only real proven RB we have getting hurt before the season even starts.

Not listed in the stats for some reason, but Kenyan Drake had a big day.

His stats were a good bit better than Yeldon's from a production standpoint - which is probably why they weren't included. Yeldon didn't participate in much of the 2nd half of the scrimmage until the 2 minute drill.

Damnit you're right, I should've known that. I just saw the Trey and naturally thought DePriest.

Showing his ignorance. You can't judge a team just on the first scrimmage of fall practice. Only an idiot would do that.

That was for the humor of the SECRant.

I do have serious concerns about the offensive line, but you never learn anything about what you've got until usually the last scrimmage before the first game.

If they're still struggling in about 2 weeks, I'll be really worried. Generally speaking, the first scrimmage is always the worst for the offensive line. At least, that's what I've seen in the past.

They can read this board you know. In fact, there are apparently people on the LSUrb who lurk the shite out of this board. Stuff from here will pop up over there 30 minutes later. So if you want that to remain private, I'd delete it.

Derrick Henry likely saw a lot of short yd situational carries in the 2 min RZ drill

Remember a certain game where we were inside the 10 and called a pass play because Yeldon was tired and Lacy was banged up

This year it will be insert the Cyborg into the situation

In a response to CJ's tweet, Dickson said "we gonna be the best to ever come through Bama".

Now, I know it's just them getting hyped, but hey Dickson was on the team in 2011 and CJ was in an important role on the that team, if they're excited I'm excited.

Interesting confidence is a little bit out of character for Mosley but he has taken more of a leadership role on D

Still blows my mind that he came back, he would've been the top ILB taken in last yrs draft

I think with Yeldon, Drake, Fowler, Henry, Jones, Tenpenny, Kamara, and players like Howard we should incorporate the old Notre Dame box. Really would not matter who you plug in.

Yeah but a lot of guys say that and it gets thrown out the window if you are projected in the 1st

It worked for Andrew Luck, but I think after scouts really delved into his film and saw he was a 0% risk unlike UGA's ILB prospect (forgot his name) and Te'o and he had a comparable amount of tackles last yr and over his career, he would've been a top 20 pick, but 1 advantage I'm sure Kirby and Saban layed out for him is that it will be his very first chance to start all year and be THE defensive leader. I wouldn't be surprised if he set some tackle records this yr, record at Bama I believe belongs to Woodrow Lowe in his Soph season he had 134 tackles

Mosley tackles everything that moves so that shouldn't be an issue
