i threw out the name for comments. I liked him at SU and then at LSU. While at SU he beat LSU and Bama..He can coach

ON second thought his replacement at SU may have been the one who beat Bama but that was a long time back

What about Michael White at La Tech? He has really turned that program around and he is only 36... If I remember correctly he played at Ole Miss.

I don't think he would leave Duke... He might be the next in line as Coach K's replacement.

Stanford coach

The seat under Stanford coach Johnny Dawkins cooled off this weekend after the surprising victory at Oregon. Instead of scalding, it's now merely hot -- and probably will remain that way for the rest of the season.

I have a bad feeling that we will keep Grant one more year though.

I've got us finishing 13-18. Does anyone think that would get him fired?

not sure if "money" people want to pull the plug..and that I mean the bama basketball boosters who support the program with more then just going to games.

I would think so... Alabama fans would go crazy if they didn't and I think Bill Battle realizes this.

I'm disappointed that we won tonight. We need to lose every remaining game so no one can argue for Grant.

I don't know why the money people wouldn't want to pull the plug. If I had donated a lot of $$ to the bball program, I'd be even more pissed at these results. That $$ is just going down the drain.

Actually Bama's '14-'15 coach has 8 NCAA appearances over his 10 years coaching division 1. He also has 4 sweet 16 appearances and an elite 8 appearance along with 4 overall conference championships...
