My best guess is: LB1
Jack - Tim Williams
Mike - Reuben Foster
Will - Rashaan Evans
Sam - Ryan Anderson

Is this the best LB crew from top to bottom in the Saban era?

I think we had Hightower, Upshaw, and Mosley together 1 season, but I don't think Mosley started, and I can't remember the 4th LB. But this years crew is pretty damn good

I think they want AA to be the outside CB in all rotations but we will see.

I thought about this, but because Saban specifically said earlier in fall camp that "ideally" they'd want to bring in a Star off the bench so that fewer pieces are moving but seemed to imply that we weren't there yet, I went with what I saw as our best known situation. Like a restore point in Windows. His words were in reference to how we'd go nickel after the MSmith thing (and Brown being out). If we're there and Averett just stays on the field and Fitz comes in when we go Nickel, great.

2011's starters may take the top spot, but that was the young CJ Mosely. He was good, but not as good as he would become.

Last year's rotation was nothing to thumb your nose at:

OLB: Dillon Lee, Rashaan Evans
MLB: Reggie Ragland
MLB: Reuben Foster
OLB: Denzel Devall, Ryan Anderson

What color gatorade are we going to dump on Saban at the end of this year?

Wilson and Solomon would certainly have an opportunity to contribute early if they decided to play for Bama.

Losing Bo Davis was a fricking disaster. It may be one of those things that was so disastrous that no one really understands the ramifications yet.

Camp is almost completely over, and I cant say I've heard much about Dunbar. Anybody ?

Maybe Davis can come back next year after serving his punishment ? Better that than him landing with a competitor.

Go Cubs BTW...

And I don't care what color the Gatorade is, just please for the love of God don't hit him in the head with the bucket again. First time they get a pass, second time he'll whoop somebody's a$$

With the D Line depth at odds, I was surprised they didn't start Terrell Hall at DE. I know he's not at our normal weight yet, but at 250lbs it's not like he's going to get smaller. Was hoping they could get him up to 260+ by kickoff and bigger by the end of the year. He's got the frame to be a monster... And we've already got 4 OLB's in the mix.

If the rumors of Dwight are true, it's going to come down to Q. Williams or Jamar King eating up some snaps. King must be a mess in camp so far. Let's hope the R. Davis news comes down soon... Real soon.

I wouldn't worry about Dunbar, he's had success developing elite talent in the NFL. Guys like Mo Wilkerson, Sheldon Richardson, and Damon Harrison credit him a lot. He was behind the Williams' Wall in Minnesota too.

He was the scapegoat in Buffalo, they had to fire someone for their highest paid DL under performing. The system itself and the attitude of the players caused it to falter.

I don't think Dunbar will be back next year, probably take a job in the NFL.

Davis was a heckuva recruiter, but it's not like we aren't recruiting well. We currently have the #2 class in the country with a shot at the top class if we finish strong. I'm sure Dunbar will be more than fine however long he is here.

Class rankings aren't the problem. Not hauling better number at DT may hurt the next two years.

Didn't Tenn have a bye week before us last year? This year they wont have 2 weeks to prepare which is why I think last year so such a tough game for us again them.

Meaning it's those two and it's a legit battle so to speak.
