My assessments aren't based on a grudge, and they are not based on other peoples opinions of this year's practices so far. My opinions are based on the fact that I saw Cooper Bateman play two or three times last season, and I think he's terrible. It's my opinion, no one else's.

First team looks like
Bateman
Same OL as its been cam, Lester, Ross, Bozeman, Jonah
Howard and Hentges
Bo and Harris, emmons and Jacobs the 2's
Ridley and Stewart with dieter and foster being 2

Robert Foster looks like he has a sling or harness on not sure.

Weather is about to turn to shite

Bo and Harris both with the ones? I expect to see all three QB contenders work with the ones if that's the case.

Some people can be reasonable in their assessments. Others seem to just drive on what seems to be some kind of grudge against a person

I just don't get it.

Only thing I've said is he's being described as a 6th lineman/swing tackle. Have nothing against BB, just hasn't proven anything.

His past play wasn't great, but I'm not writing him off. Perfect world Shank is probably still starting, but it's not. It's up to him to make the most of the opportunity.

This is coming from someone who defended Ryan Kelly for the last 3 years.

I agree with you. When it comes to QB I'm for whoever gets the W, but if I had to pick I'd rather go with Barnett at the moment

My statement was geared more towards the few who were discussing Bozeman.

Saban's presser is supposedly scheduled for 3pm.

Most important thing for me from the scrimmage is no major injuries

Totally unrelated to everything we discuss on this board, but Brazil and Argentina are playing an epic game of basketball right now.

Somebody on BOL linked a tweet about Jalen Hurts at the scrimmage simply saying he's the real deal.

This also from BOL...

quote:

Hurts took the one offense on a nice drive down the field against the one defense with a mix of scrambles and passes. Ended with a pick in the end zone. CB also has a pick 6 to Carter. Not there. Just passing on from another source because I didn't see it posted.

Yeah I'm hearing Hurts tore it up.

This has me too excited.

More from the same poster on BOL...

BB had nice drive going against the 2nd defense. Throws a pick in the end zone from the 20 with 2 seconds left on clock.

Pretty sure the scrimmages are pass happy to test the QBs and the young DBs but sounds like we may be looking at a No fly Zone indeed this season.

Same guy...

quote:

Jumped in on the updates late. BB threw a TD to Stewart from 5 yards out. CB connected with Ridley for a touchdown. Ball had nice zip on it.
Seems like there were struggles when going against one defense. Apparently they look real good.

Marlon picked off Bateman at some point in 1v1. This is all happened. Sounds like they are working on 2 minute stuff right now wrapping up.
