I hope this year ends all the talk about we need to do everything to keep this coach on staff for recruiting this area or for whatever reason. Eventually they are going to be gone and many times it is sooner rather than later. We just need to get the best guys for coaching and recruiting for the team and if feelings get hurt so be it. Thank them for thier time in Tuscaloosa and help them find a good spot to land and move on.

Kuligowski has interviewed to be the new head coach at Northern Illinois.
It appears that Coach Kool is the one on staff coach that is still a mystery.

GIVE ME BOSTAD!!!!

Hearing top candidates for #RollTide offensive line job are Kyle Flood, most recently Atlanta Falcons assistant offensive line coach, and #Wisconsin assistant Bob Bostad. Bostad currently coaches LBs but built rep as Wisconsin's O-line coach from 2008-11 and then with 2 NFL teams
GIVE ME BOSTAD!!!!

I miss the days of Silverfield and Stoutland rumors.

Same. I have seen the Wisconsin OL and think that would be a great hire.
I have seen a few twitters idiots post the Butch shouldn’t have been on the field during the games. Correct me if I am wrong, he can be on the field during the game, but he can’t coach or lead drills at practice? It was brought up after Fulmer got in trouble for coaching some lineman.

At this rate not even Mrs. Terry is safe from a sendoff.

As long as he doesn't coach, I don't see why he can't be on the field. Look at all of the water boys and other folks on the sidelines.

He could be on the field as long as he wasn't coaching. People who complain about it are normally 10RC fans anyway and they can't talk after the fat phil shite

Kept saying that out loud whenever I read their complaints. They are just triggered right now.

He was in the locker room too

Bostad, Davis, and Steele would make me happy. I know everyone brings up the end of Steele's tenure at Clemson, but turning around years of terrible defense at Auburn shows competence. Hurting them at the same time wouldn't be a bad thing either.

Said it before, don’t want Davis and Steele. I would rather bring in Freddie Roach. Alumni and new blood. Ole Miss players seemed to really like him. He would know the system and would be a quick turnaround.

Lake, Davis, and Bostad would be better.

This is Bo's deal.......
LINK
The NCAA denied an appeal from Bo Davis on Thursday and upheld a two-year show-cause penalty it placed upon the former Alabama assistant in April that runs through April 13, 2019.
According to an NCAA release, Davis argued that the show-cause order should expire two years from the date he resigned at Alabama, which was April 29, 2016, rather than two years from when the NCAA ruled on his case, which was this past April.
However, the penalty was upheld. That means Davis, who is now UTSA's defensive line coach, can't do any off-campus recruiting through April 13, 2019.

That shouldn't make a material difference to the 2020 recruiting class... real question is whether he actually is the DL coach the bama fanbase hypes him up to be.

I honestly felt like Saban overreacted to the 2018 recruiting class and hired his staff based on one year's recruiting failures. The class wasn't even a bad one outside of missing on ILB. I hope this year he hires coaches first, recruiters second.

This board does nothing but overreact so I can give the GOAT a pass.
