This. It makes no sense at all.
I'd still not like it, but I can at least see a SMALL point if the rule was a hand hits the facemask, but the side of the helmet? You've created a rule to 'protect' a player from a play that has ZERO chance of causing an injury.

Sark gets hate because Kiffin bailed and he had what, a week to step in and call plays against a great Clemson defense? He also had freshman Hurts, which was peak rollout to the right and throw it out of bounds.
He’s a good OC, I like him much better than Locks, who was feast or famine.
