I’m afraid Tua will try to come back against LSU and limp around and leave after someone wraps him up. You know LSU will be twisting that ankle when they tackle him

I actually think Tua didn't come back because Saban wants him to rest up and not risk further injury. I think Tua could've played if need be. I don't believe he was hurt as bad as last season.

But I think they put points on our defense. Good thing is their D is even worse than Tennessee’s. If Mac can’t play well versus them then...

Just a reminder that Jalen Hurts suffered this injury against Tennessee last year (October 20) and wasn’t able to come back until nearly a month later against The Citadel (November 17). In fact, he could barely jog pregame against Miss State, leading to Mac having to play when Tua was hurt. So based on that recent example I’d be pretty surprised if Tua is able to play effectively against LSU.

The problem with a high ankle sprain is it doesn’t completely heal for months. It will be weak and tender and prone to re-injury at the slightest tweak. Yeah, it could’ve been a lot worse, but it ain’t great news either. We just won 75% Tua probably until the SECCG if we make it.

Yeah but Jalen had ligament damage with his. If Tua doesn’t have ligament damage he will be ok

It just didn’t seem as bad, I mean Tua went back out there for another play. Then, we called timeout and got him off the field.

I think their shoes are Chinese sweat shop made trash, but so are Under Armour and Adidas's.

No, he didn’t. He suffered an injury with the same name.

There are multiple grades and different complicating factors that determine recovery.

There is no way we can know how the two compare.

Maybe somebody on the staff will mention to him that he can throw the ball away if needed.

It depends on how bad it is. Tua wasn't even going to come out of the game, but they called a timeout to avoid a delay of game.

Maybe he will throw it away now that he doesn’t have to worry about the heisman?? No need to make highlight reel plays.. just take what’s there and win

I'm probably overreacting as it felt worse. Seems like he caught a couple more that got called back from penalties too.

Yep. If Tua suffered a grade 1 sprain tonight he will be fine in 9 or 10 days. If he suffered a grade 3 sprain our season is fricked.

The media will hold on to Hurts for Heisman even more now.. and as we expected he is putting up crazy stats verse crappy D’s.. I will say he touch has gotten better though.. but he doesn’t have any pressure.
