If he’s mad about not having PT, he needs to remember that everyone has to earn it. If he’s ditching the team for selfishness, well… bye.

True, Najee hated it at Alabama for the most part.
Hard to tell about Hall how consequential he is since I haven’t even seen him play a real game!

With the new transfer rules it's a different game. Elite players won't be content to sit on the bench. At least let them play when the game has been decided.

It will only get harder to manage talent and egos when they are making mega-money through NIL.
Not sure what is keeping Hall from playing time, but I'm guessing it is effort Mon-Fri and commitment to the off field reqs Saban has for his players. He is a hell of a talent. Would hate to lose him. Hopefully he works it out and sticks with it to EARN some snaps. He could be very special.
But, I think it is clear that talent alone isn't enough at this level. Team first attitudes are what win championships. That alone is what made 2020 so damn special. Best TEAM effort ever.

I wonder if some of these guys see sitting on the bench as lost NIL money. Not only do they want to play, but they know that they need exposure to get licensing deals.

nahh. Without the elite talent it would probably not been nearly as good. 6 first round NFL players and 6 first team All American players was just a start.

I think there has been a cultural shift of entitlement over the past few years where players expect to play simply on talent alone worsening over the last decade. No one wants to wait their turn and do ALL the things asked of them
Transfer rules and NIL are going to worsen that effect for those who would otherwise mature over time and be humbled along the way to become better players and people. It's not a great trend for the sport

Honestly if the WRs struggled and we lost again I'd be more sympathetic but tweeting this after a 40 point dominating win says a lot. Hope he stays but whatever.

It's not entitlement when you and everyone else knows you're good but you're not getting snaps solely because of seniority. Hell, Owens is still a starter so Hall may indeed have some legitimate gripes.
