Coach Saban's post-game remarks were spot on.

I think we tried to let Jalen go down first but Fresno just sat back in a deep zone all day and rushed 4. Pretty much what Saban said.

Schedule plays out nice. Small step ups in competition each week from Fresno to Colorado State to Vandy.

The passing game is what it is. We can be effective in our scheme even without an intermediate or deep passing game. Jalen is a better runner than he was last year.

When the Clemson/Auburn game has any relevance to what happens when/if Alabama players either of those teams, come see me.

Agreed, but our defense has to be dominant similar to last year.
What I'm worried about is when we face a QB that can just take our defense apart, and we need Jalen to be a pocket passer. Those are the games that get really hairy

Showed some improvement on offense, too many mistakes on defense. Tedford schemed well against our D, had some success with screens and draws. Our defense made some mistakes, especially on those plays.

This post is so bad. Yeah they would have beat Fresno State 76-0 becau5sr they would have tried.

We coasted with a plan of getting our freshmen key game time.

Anyways since when does pounding nonentities equate to being the best?

Overall, Tide played pretty well today and got some valuable depth-building reps for a lot of players.

No I just saw Clemson play last week, and Kelly Bryant looks like a Heisman OG. Their offense looked so effortlessly smooth.
They would've beat Fresno 52-0

I'm just expressing my opinion. I think we could go toe-to-toe with them, but I think Clemson would beat us right now

As usual you couldn't be more wrong.

They're being shutout by little brother right now. They have 11 rushing yards late in the second quarter.

Definitely does not look like Clemson wants any of Bama right now.
