Is Damien Harris hurt? I'm trying understand why he had minimal snaps in that first half.

Why does he always have minimal carries? Because we never want to commit to the run. It's mind boggling.

The majority of they key plays of this game is due to lack of execution.

Offensively....

Jonah had a stupid/idiotic clipping penalty. Stopped Drive.
Calvin dropped a ball. Stopped drive.
Jalen fumbles ball. Stopped drive.

Defensively...
Levi allowed Slayton go down the sideline.

We clean up our mistakes and we are golden, boys.

That's not a quick slant. It's a low crossing route.

It's hard to cover then when you send everybody on a blitz.

Pretty sure that drive was already stopped.

I like bo as a bruiser, but damn his vision.

34 shouldve had those carries on our last series.

Just a bad half overall. Hopefully we got it out of our system and are ready to roll 2nd half

That was as bad a half of football as Bama has had in many years, and we're still only down three, getting the ball to start the second half. With the right adjustments and crisper play, we should come out with a win

If you watch the play again, there was another Auburn receiver going our wide at the same time. He was left to cover two guys, while the entire defense got fooled.

Yeah. Ridley should've had that. Resulted in them getting great field position and the FG

Au is basically double teaming Calvin and just like on the Judey TD pass.If Jalen would get off Calvin quicker find Judey and smithy .They AU cannot cover them in man for man the whole game.
But more than anything we need to quit conceding the run game wont work so .

Gotta do a better job of getting the ball to playmakers on offense.
Defense seems to have settled down a bit.

You realize they are blowing up our line?

It aint as simple as just running the ball. We can't out power them so we're are trying to finesse them

Jalen won't throw unless they are wide open. He's got to start threading it some.

I don't know what our offensive game plan is right now. It looks like just randomly drawing plays out of a hat.

Defense is what it is. He will make throws if unpressured. We are not getting pressure often.

Second half will not be pretty if we don't decide on an offensive strategy and preferably one that keeps the defense off the field.

I’d like to see Jacobs catch the ball on a wheel route

Dude, Calvin dropped a ball he should have caught which led to Auburn getting a three point lead and momentum at halftime.

Calvin needs to step the heck up

This is the byproduct of everyone who wanted us to go to the bright shiny spread option offense getting what they wanted. We have become what we used to ridicule. Soft on both sides of the ball. A failure to commit to the power run game.

Huh? The two biggest throws one for a TD and the Ridley drop were both 50/50 balls.

Look at the overall production of the two QBs for a change instead of reaching for alibis.
