Is this the part where we find out Saban's success was really all due to Bobby Williams?

Sounding like Patrica to the Lions is done deal. Daboll could come into play here.

So what's everyone thinking if Daboll leaves? Locksley? McElwain comes back?

I don't really like Locks as OC, he's a glorified recruiter whose best offenses at Maryland were still pedestrian.

Though he might just head to FSU if passed over, so it's an odd situation. Taggart can afford to take him as OC, as he himself has called plays in the past.

Seems to me that if Daboll bounces Bama needs to be aggressive in going after another OC. Does Norvell at Memphis call the plays or does his OC?

It was one of those things that coaches never gave a straight answer at Memphis in regards to playcalling.

Regardless, Jimbo hired their OC, Darrell Dickey...

^ This is good news. Jedd Fisch was also a top candidate for that job. I think Fisch might be a good OC candidate for us if Daboll leaves.

Eta: Oops, didn't notice post above about Daboll.
