#Alabama's made some really strong hires in the past two weeks esp in adding STC Jeff Banks and now Josh Gattis (he's produced 3 All-American WRs in the past 7 YRs). Both are also excellent recruiters.
Feldman again

Penn State's WRs have been fantastic the last few years, and they are not filled with 5-star guys.

Gattis landed the #1 WR for the Class of 2018 out of New Jersey.

Yea I meant more of he has shown to develop guys who aren't necessarily Top 20 players. Now imagine what he will do with Top 20 players (and he can recruit them, too).
Awesome hire.

I am interested to see the recruiting region assignments. Some of them are obvious. Others, not so much.

Saban not screwing around with putting together an elite recruiting staff. 2019 should be fun. Kirby...buckle up pudgy ole friend, things just got a lot tougher!

OC by committee. The CEO(Saban) decided to create an OC BoD to to create a think tank on how to dominate the opposition

Guys, I turned down the chance to be co-offensive coordinator for Bama. I told Saban there was no way I would co coordinate with 6 other OCs. I draw the line at 5. I'm going to take my talents to Madden.

Chip's breaking point was 3 OCs. He's a diva

Obviously Lock is the OC. Saban just handing out titles in order to poach other staffs. Good on Saban. Let's get to recruiting.

Alabama football: Crimson Tide reportedly hires new co-OC, WRs coach

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — With news of Mike Locksley becoming the next offensive coordinator for Alabama football, Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban is still working to fill out the rest of the coaching staff.
Alabama has reportedly hired Josh Gattis as its new wide receivers coach and co-offensive coordinator, according to Football Scoop and Bruce Feldman.
Gattis served as the wide receivers coach and passing-game coordinator at Penn State. Gattis spent the past four seasons at Penn State and also worked two seasons on James Franklin’s staff at Vanderbilt before that. While at Vanderbilt, Gattis served as Franklin’s recruiting coordinator and he assists with special teams at Penn State.
Alabama’s offensive staff currently has Mike Locksley as offensive coordinator, Burton Burns at running backs coach and Gattis at wide receivers coach.
Gattis was Scout.com 2015 recruiter of the year.

Was told last night that Bama found out more on freeze, may make him a non option. Will see what happens.
I kind of doubted that was going to work out anyway. May be for the best.

He is currently the No. 14 coach in the 247Sports recruiter rankings for the Class of 2018 and is the No. 5 recruiter in the Big Ten. He was the 2015 Scout.com recruiter of the year.
