Jedd Fisch, former UCLA offensive coordinator

Fisch was a candidate for the job last year when Daboll was hired. He had a job as the UCLA offensive coordinator leading QB Josh Rosen at the time. Now, he's currently a free agent. Fisch has been an offensive coordinator all but one year since 2009 with Minnesota, Miami Hurricanes, Jacksonville Jaguars, Michigan and UCLA.

Dan Enos, Michigan WR coach

The former Arkansas offensive coordinator's name has been mentioned with Alabama openings in the past. He recently was hired by Michigan as the receivers coach, though a coordinator role is possible, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Mike Locksley, Alabama WR coach

The former New Mexico head coach is the early favorite for the job. He brings continuity to the quarterback situation after spending last year coaching the receivers and the year before that as an Alabama offensive analyst.
Several former and current Alabama players voiced their support for Locksley's promotion Sunday on social media.

I am hoping for a combo of Locks and either of the two between jedd and Enos.Ive been on record for either Jedd Or Enos. But would hate to loose another recruiter if Locksley Bolts.
But tua gonna need a very good QB coach and jedd got that west cost OC style that would fit well.Arky offense under Enos had the older Allen(qb) kid rolling and well balance attack..

I actually wouldnt mind Hugh Freeze. His offense with Tua would be sick....as long as he ran the ball more than he did at Ole Miss.

Enjoy the shitshow.

I just think hiring Freeze hurts recruiting. Mommas ain’t going to like his hooker history haha.

Locksley can go. I really don't care. He's not a good enough candidate to hold Saban hostage. It's not like we didn't recruit well before he got here. We'll be fine when he's off wherever he can get hired.

As long as we keep getting studs out of the DMV area I don’t care what Locksley does.

I mean I agree, and we were pulling those guys prior to Locksley ever coming here.

So apparently he had offers from Bama and Auburn as an analyst, but I got nothing on the OC stuff.

Could he be inline for an analyst position to maybe help out Locksley as a fallback option?

Freeze reportedly does not have a show-cause and would face no restrictions as an assistant coach including being able to recruit off campus. This may get interesting lol.

He doesn't have one as an assistant. It is a show cause as a head coach. Which would work in anyone's favor trying to keep an OC around longer than one season.

But I am still not a fan of his pass happy offense.

Take it for what it's worth but Clay Travis's sources are telling him that Freeze was interviewing for the OC job.

In terms of resume, Freeze has to be considered the front runner. Granted there are other potential issues at play, but he is the best and move proven offensive playcaller in the running.

I obviously have no idea what Freeze was there for, but I'd bet money that his "source" is Jimmy Sexton trying to generate interest and drive the price tag up.

Bring on Freeze and his recruiting and playcalling. Let's win number 18.

I'm fine with Freeze. Having said that, if he is the guy we still don't have a QB coach. I don't think he has ever been one. I'd hate to have someone as talented as Tua not getting really good position coaching.

Is Benito Jones still eligible to transfer without sitting a year? If so I imagine Freeze could help with that.
