Acuna scratched from tonight’s lineup.

Love Ronald, but he is kinda soft when it comes to injuries IMO

Yeah bro, frustrating big time talents like Acuna, young & all, constantly coming down with injuries.

Kyle Wright, 2016 as a sophomore at Vandy went 8-4, era at 3.09
As a junior 5-6, era at 3.40

Those are descent numbers for a collegiate starting pitcher.
However, those numbers never warranted the Braves drafting him 5th overall in the 2017 MLB draft.
To draft a pitcher that high, you would think he have dominant stuff, numbers to go with it.
The Braves were simply way to high on him.
Bad scouting to say the least.

Damn! Braves stink it up tonight, however, the ATL HAWKS are the sports story, continuing to shock the universe.
Young is an absolute superstar. What a performance tonight.

I watched the Hawks. I’m rooting like hell for them.

They aren’t a fluke. They are legit and I think they are better than the Bucks. 1 down 3 to go.

They got a good young team.

Me as well. Front office has done an outstanding job putting that team together. Also, props to their general, Nate McMillan.

My favorite player on the team is that Collins kid. He gets after it

Soroka re-tore his Achilles just walking around apparently. He's obviously going to have surgery, but his career is now likely over.

I hate it for Mike. To be so young and in the midst of what should be the years that you dont have to worry about injuries- this has to be a real physical, mental, emotional challenge for him.

I strained my hammy and groin over a two week span (the ol classic "I can play through it" mentality did not end well for me) back in January. Both injuries have healed, but the muscles in the area weakening over a couple months led to inflammation in my adductors (groin), and I am still basically crippled.

I missed ski season for first time in my adult life. I cant play golf. I cant take my little boy on hikes. I can barely wrestle on the floor with him. I cant even bring the thunder with the Mrs. without possibly having a set back. (this has led to a lot of cowgirl rides so not exactly complaining)

Anyhow I'm seven months into my nightmare, and seeing Soroka is definitely gonna probably end up in that two year recovery timeframe I feel terrible for him. I have a new found sympathy for people that have to recover from injuries. I'm at 7 months, and I can tell you 7 months feels like 7 years to me. I've always coped with lifes challenges and stresses through physical exercise and sports, and to have all those things taken away I've become a bit of a mess. I can only imagine what Soroka is feeling like today. I'm sure the worst thoughts possible are creeping in on him, but hopefully someone close to him helps him keep his head on straight.

If anyone reading this happens to have any experience with inflamed adductors taking forever to heal please respond with how you finally managed to get it out.

I don't even care anymore. These guys are just fricking losers. Blow it all up. Fire the entire staff, trade everyone, and start over.
