This could really bring the team together behind Tua. It could also potentially divide the team.

I think lost in all the Qb controversy is something that Saban has been saying,But seems to be fallen on def ears.
He mention that starting Tua in the UGa second half was something that had been taking shape for a while.
As we heard that Tua was a possibility in the Clemson game had jalen struggle.

Right now Saban maybe has the offense that will allow him to live with,
a few offensive turnover's if the total offensive production is worth it.
Both Tua and Saban have to work thru that and it was evident after the pick Tua threw in the UGA game.
But rebounded and lead the offense on scoring drives.

What I see is another preparation by Saban to take the steps to prepare both QB's,
with better coaching with the addition of ENOS..In there lies why it's important to give Tua a QB/oc guru to match his ability.
But also Enos is know for taking avg QB talent and making it play at a good level.

So in saying that we should hope to see an improved jalen as well under Enos coaching him up.
Because if Tua goes down were gonna need a better jalen.
Hence why I want to also see jalen play mean-full minutes against UL.
But I want TUA to start and play more and distribute with the complete usage of all our weapons.
Yet keep in mind that if our running game is dominating then roll with it,
Because Patrino and UL passing ability may make us want to keep possession advantage to protect the young secondary.

Ive wanted ENOS on this staff for a minute and I think Saban knew Tua needed that.
As Coach Lock's, gonna remain in the booth were he comfortable.
Enos will handle QB and Offensive units on the sideline.
So we should want to see an improved jalen as well as Tua getting more experience.
Hopefully we blow them out in our third QB gets minutes.

No offense, but you really need to work on your rhyming skillz.

What do you suppose? He's The Brand, you know.

There is less likelihood of it dividing the team than playing both quarterbacks for more than a game or two.

By what is being said it sounds like it’s just helping solidify Tua as the leader.

I'm still nettled about that comment. C'mon Jalen, "built a brand for myself" this is Alabama players don't get their own brand

But yeah, this story is popping up on other websites now. It's probably true. Jalen, wtf man...

If it did happen, then it isn’t the way I wanted it to end. In a perfect world, I was hoping for Jalen to give some kind Kodi Burns ra-ra speech and concede the job to the better QB.

The meeting rumor is making the rounds lots of people saying it didn't happen. I have no clue but threads are being deleted on the other board that making any reference to it

I've been seeing a lot of people confirming it did happen

I hope it didn't happen.

Are you seeing confirmation of people saying it happened or that they heard the rumor too? It could be just one big echo chamber now.

The few posts I’ve seen seem to be regurgitating the same stuff.

It likely happened, but it's also likely some fans are making more of it than it actually is.

If we didn't have a quarterback controversy before, we may be in the midst of one now. I had a bad feeling this would happen. Saban should just name a starter and go with it. He isn't stupid so he knows who is better more than we do.

ETA: Link to the supposed insider's account, I can't confirm if he's truly got inside sources or not

I need to make a reddit account to post with these guys, but I read r/rolltide and there's a guy named "Google-me2" who seems to always have good info and is trusted over there, but I don't know. He has said "This is 100% true. Can confirm from multiple sources that work with the program."

He goes on to say the following:

"I don't know a lot about the situation other than he (Jalen) isn't happy with how things have been going for him. Apparently he is much more of a cancer to the locker room than anyone knows about. This was an effort to make his pitch to "win the team" from what I understand.

The thing I do not know is if this was a negative meeting in any way. The source that told me didn't mention anything negative, but his exact words were 'He thinks he is a much better quarterback than he actually is and a lot of that is his dad putting shite in his head.' So take it for what it's worth."

Then he also says:

"You can believe this one. It's as true as the sky is blue. Don't know if he is in Sabans dog house or not, but he definitely called a players meeting to pitch his case."

The man on the other board saying he heard about it last night. But that no one can confirm it, so he would be shocked it was true

If you're a #3, #4 receiver on the team, how do you get excited about Jalen being your qb? Dude could only get the ball to one dude

If Jalen was a semi-accurate passer last year, Calvin could have easily caught 100+ balls. Those videos by Maze really highlighted how bad some of his balls were, and how incredibly open Calvin was a lot of the time.
