A lot of rumor & misinformation out today about Tua Tagovailoa’s knee injury; based on info I trust: no scope has or will occur; painful injury that can be played on & should be much better following the bye week

I don't like Drew, therefore I place my allegiance with Boz

How long until we hear, "Saban's really fricking this up"?

It sounds like a pain thing that scope may or may not help with. I’m not going to worry unless they start talking about him possibly needing listerine.

Or he says “I’ve heard different things from different insiders. I’m as lost as you guys.”

Too much pineapple and kalua pork.

Saban watched over my shoulder. he was proud. then he left in his new airplane to get more Little Debbies in the morning. You know he eats TWO every morning.

Part of me says rest him for Tennessee so he gets 2 full weeks to recover and we have him as close to 100% as possible going into the LSU game and into the postseason where the competition is going to get really tough.

But Tennessee is on the road and they will be very fired up for us following their win. It's dangerous to treat them like Arkansas State at the moment and you're just asking for trouble by not doing everything you can to win that game.

Regardless, Saban and company will make the right call.

Yea, if it is just a pain and rest thing and not a possible aggravation/long term injury thing...........I think he you play in Knoxville unless it's affecting him.

Now, you probably have a shorter leash once the game gets to 14-21 points and you have an extra short leash if you see anything funky out of him.........but if it's truly just pain and irritation I think you play him then put him on a couch for 7 days during the bye week. Assuming he says he is good to go, obviously.

The biggest thing there is risk of future harm.

If we can't beat the Vols with Hurts, we're in trouble anyway. I say rest Tua and get him ready for LSU in 3 weeks. Now if we're down 10 in the 3rd quarter in Knoxville, we can talk about bringing Tua in, but otherwise rest the Pineapple Prince.

I guess it all depends on
(a) will resting it heal it
(b) will re-aggravating it possible cause long term damage

If the answer to either is yes, I agree sit him next weekend. However, if he's going to have pain from aggravating it in 3 weeks regardless of whether he sits this weekend...........I don't see any reason to sit him.
