I honestly haven’t paid attention to whether he can block at all but he is a big mismatch for defenses. Seems pretty fast for his size, seems to get open alot, and seems to have huge good hands. Milroe seems to trust him. Need to feed this guy more. If we can keep running the ball well he his going to be open alot for easy throws behind the linebackers. Someone put in a call to Rees.

Struggled a bit blocking but as a weapon you have to get him on the field. Ouzts and Dippre are much better blockers but what Niblack has shown is pretty damn impressive receiving wise. Put him out wide and let him go to work.

Outzs can't block in space.

Consistently misses the block or gets flagged for holding.

Also Niblack’s “Prothro” catch in the MSU game was a TD. He got one foot down juat before other one hit on the line and he maintained constant possession throughout. Official missed that one. Great throw by Milroe too that should have added a TD pass for him.

You need to check what the word "consistently" means. Regardless he's much better than Niblack and that's what I stated.

Wrong. Ouzts cannot block in space at all.

Ouzts has been disappointing, expected him to be a lot better by now . His blocking & receiving is below average.

Niblack has shown an unwillingness to block. He's good to have in the game during passing situations. CJ Dippre has been the purest tight end so far with both good blocking and receiving. Not sure why so many people are talking about Outzts in this thread when he's essentially the third string and was a three star to begin with.

Agreed. He struggles with edge rushes. But he's an old school fullback. He can pop the mike lb and drive his feet. His hands have looked pretty good unless i missed some drops. He made a nice shoestring catch around the goal line in the USF game.

I loved Jalston Fowler and i think Oustz is the best FB/Hback we've had since then.

seems to me that outzs is a good straight line blocker. not so good at moving laterally to block.

cant recall a good block by niblack. however, i can remember thinking that had he made a block, it could have been a bigger play. but then again, ive seen a lot of missed blocks by our receiver's and rb's this year.

Niblack made a key block on one of Milroes td runs early in the season. Think it may have been the first game.

That's just not true about Niblack. I've watched him be a willing blocker this season.

Most of our receivers are subpar edge blockers since we lost the Jeudy/Ruggs/Smith/Waddle crew, why should the TEs be any better?

The screen game sucks because they don’t pop blocks for each other like they used to.
