Who do you guys think will be the mystery team next year? Every year there is a team you don't expect that surprises. I think TAMU or Florida

If they get good QB play, which is a huuuuuge if.

I think Florida makes it to Atlanta next year.

Pruitt needs to pick up a few pieces at his nearest transfer portal. Otherwise, the football culture is getting set in cement.

Right now Pruitt’s best option is the kid from California but he had plenty of freshman moments in between the good.

Texas A&M is gonna be a good team next season. I just don't trust Mullen at Florida. He gets cute early in big games and costs his teams. Outside of the conference I like Oklahoma State. Return a lot but we'll see.

Tennessee will win 9 games, including a win over OU.

Florida wins the East and might be undefeated going into the SEC Championship Game.

A&M wins 10 games next year

On the other end of the spectrum

Auburn goes 7-5 and fires Gus.

LSU goes 8-4.

Georgia loses 3 games next year.

Not only do I agree. These are all likely to happen.

Plus the pirate over in Starkville will jump up and beat one of the big boys...either Auburn or LSU.

Don't think 10rC will beat OU. Eight wins might be their ceiling. They have a good freshman QB coming in Harrison Bailey, who may start. They will be good on defense and their OL is loaded with 5-stars who now have experience.

I think aTm is the mystery. Is this the year they make the jump and compete in the west? With the mass exodus at LSU, there is too much rebuilding for them to win the west, IMO.

Auburn is losing too much defensively, and I think Nix has a sophomore slump, especially with a less than stellar (young) O line next year.

In the east, I think UT is primed to make a little noise, but still are a year away from being a legitimate contender.

UF is the team to beat at this point. They have a core group coming back that will should be the foundation for them being the favorite in the east.

UGA has lost too much offensively and I think they will lose to UF, who has narrowed the talent gap. UGA will most likely be the best defensive unit in CFB next year, but will remind us of Auburn 2019. Their defense will have them in every game they play, but their offense will not be able to outscore anybody.

Don't think he was good enough as a freshman to qualify for a sophomore slump. Nix was not a very good QB last year.

I hope the "mystery" team doesn't have to win the division. Otherwise, there is no mystery team. Georgia is going to overwhelm their eastern brethren with talent and Alabama is winning the West.

ATM has the recruits and the coaching to finish second in the West. If that makes them a "mystery" team than so be it. T

Look at their schedule. Like ten wins are guaranteed unless they have a rash of injuries and that is if Mond shows no improvement. If LSU struggles with the new staff then that could mean eleven wins. If they work hard and they will, they will be legit next year regardless of schedule.

I thought Guarantano looked good his sophomore year. If he can get back to that they'll be dangerous.

Guarantano is Pruitt’s version of Felipe Franks. You can get all caught up on the potential he shows occasionally but its the shite play in between the highlights that you can’t afford. That is why Florida is so much better with Trask under center. Trask probably wont make the ESPN top 10 plays very often but he won’t shite the bed multiple times a game either. I never will understand why coaches get so infatuated with a QB that shows greatness for a few play a game but is absolute poison for the rest of the game. Felipe, Guarantano, Martinez at Nebraska, Mond all have high highs but very low lows as well. They aren’t worth it.
