Based on the eye test:

Our quarterback is our most athletic player. That’s not good.

Our quarterback is the fastest player on the team outside a 17 year old 175 pound WR.

Our QB backed up Bryce fricking Young and all he learned was how to brand himself.

Jalen needs to leave for the NFL because he can’t be the pinnacle of all the measuring categories of our team. I don’t need my QB to lead the entire team in bench and squat only to be stuffed by some white guy with a porn stache in Norman after he can’t find a WR down field. He is a running back with a big arm. Nothing more. He needs to be used for end arounds and not QB work. Have fun on the jags, Milroe. I wish you success. Just not with Alabama.

What the hell is he going to do in the NFL? Clean offices and locker rooms after hours?

That clown isn’t qualified to play for the Bham Iron.

I don't think the only choices are he leaves for the NFL or he's our starting 2025 QB.

Are you kidding with the NFL talk ? The guy is a freaking idiot. He’s dumb as shite. What NFL organization is going to give him a chance to be a starter ? Or even a back up ?

Our OL is CFP level.
Our RBs are CFP level.
Our TEs outside of today are CFP level.
Our WRs are CFP level.

A QB either amplifies the players around them based on their ability to get them the ball at the right time and the right place or they shackle them by not doing those things.

I’m telling you there are things Jalen Milroe can’t do right now that middle school QBs are expected to be proficient at:

-How to read a LB/DE on a read option to determine whether to hand off or keep it
-How to read a blitz and adjust protection or audible based on the look
-How to process your reads quickly enough to add the pass element unlocking the RPO concepts
-How to read a block to optimize your run
-How to be aware of the first down yard to gain to make sure you pick it up instead of trying to break every run for a TD

He can’t do those things right now. As a result the UW DeBoer offensive playbook is only about 25% available.

He has interviews where he talks about how he never ran RPOs in HS and was a drop back pocket QB because he didn’t want to be stereotyped as a mobile QB. He simply doesn’t really get it so he just kind of fakes it and goes through the motions without actually understanding what’s supposed to happen to a degree that would allow him to do it properly at game speed.

If he could process the option read the RBs would get the ball when they’re supposed to enhancing our run game and keeping their LBs honest.

If he could process the quick slants it would freeze the LBs who’d have to sit on them instead of spying him.

If he could adjust protection he’d unlock the vertical passing game, but he can’t so we don’t go vertical which he’s actually really good at.

He’s a coaches nightmare because he’s so stupidly talented athletically and has a very solid arm that anyone who sees him knows he could become Lamar Jackson on day. But he’s also not good enough right now to win against elite defenses consistently so while you wait and hope the light comes on there’s a good chance you keep stacking Ls until you get fired.

I'd argue that Ryan Williams is the most athletic.. Or maybe Hubbard or saab on defense. Lawson or k Law are also really athletic.

Kendrick Law is the fastest.

Butt chin O'Brien didn't spend any time trying to actually develop another QB. Then, milroe had to go through last year's OC from Notre dame. Now another OC.

Who? Think I saw him on a milk carton during the game.
