I was at the game with seats behind the endzone, so I had all 22 all game. It was unbelievable how many open receivers Milroe missed. Scheming guys open is all an offensive coordinator can do during the game. I think Rees has been a more than adequate play caller. Developmentally something is off with the program, but that's really on both sides of the ball and has been going on for years prior to Rees being hired.

I saw that guy saying it was an RPO, but I'm not buying it. Saban never mentioned it being an RPO in the postgame when asked about the play. He specifically said they thought they could block it up front. I think the motion was just to carry the safety out of the box.

When you line up and you can see that the OLB is a free rusher you have to know what to do. You can’t wait till he’s on you. You can’t turn and try to run backwards away from him. You can’t put your eyes down and start stuttering. You have to know where your hot route is. He doesn’t. He doesn’t take 3 yard sacks. He takes 20 yard sacks. Drive killers. It’s not getting better.

The more I think on it, the less inclined I am to be a supporter of incumbent logic at QB. Milroe needs to have his position legitimately challenged this Spring and see how he responds.

Zero chance the 4th down was executed as called. You can tell by the blocking and routes it was an RPO.

Tell us the read man for the RPO on that play. In fact, explain the entire play with everyone's assignments to us since you know with zero chance that it wasn't executed exactly how it was called.

Actually, some of us know with 100% certainty it wasn't executed properly by Milroe because we saw the link to the clip from X in a different thread. The RG pulled around the C and LG, and if Milroe would have followed him, he'd have walked into the endzone untouched.

Watch the damn clip. No one should have to explain it to you.

No he wouldn't have. No matter how much that idiot yells "follow your guard".

Milroe had to pick the ball off the floor for one. Secondly, #81 did wash his man down well and his guy broke the containment or gap block. Then the pulling guard overran the DB who slanted inside as well. The outsider defender was still there squeezing so no Milroe couldn't have scored that, no one could have.

The play got blown up and the terrible snap really killed it.

You can't tell some of these folks anything... They're emotional.

You must’ve missed our defense getting abused by inferior talent at the end of the game. Same as Week 2 versus Texas.

At this point, I'm looking at Rees to fix it.

Good luck. Saban hired a 30 year old whose alma mater didn’t want him anymore. Think about that for a minute… Kiffin, Sark… Rees… let that sink in.
