What happened with him down in South Florida. He was a good coach and they fired him at FIU

There a-hole athletic director fired him after one bad season. Pete Garcia was an idiot.

Your opinion isn't what Mario is rumored to have said about Tuscaloosa. It came out a few years ago. Cristobal was said to say he would return to Alabama to become the head coach there.

And, for what's it's worth Cristobal burned some bridges in Miami to come to Tuscaloosa. He's not a favorite of the Miami administration because of the way he left and it's rumored before he left Miami he almost got into a physical altercation with some Auburn coaches at a high school in Miami.
