That's what SHOULD happen but with the money involved, there is so much pressure to win that coaches will often let the player slide, regardless of what he did. And sadly, quite a few fans would justify those actions.

Player X who is guaranteed NFL 1st round draft pick is caught on videotape taking a chain saw to someone in broad daylight. There would be literally thousands of "fans" twisting themselves into a moral/ethical origame by saying sh*t like:

"He didn't get an ice cream cone at the state fair when he was 5. That 'trauma' caused him to murder that guy.

"Yes, he murdered that guy but he's found Jesus!!!"

"His mother was a sex worker and he grew up living above a brothel where his mother worked. You can't hold him accountable for anything he does."

I agree! All that showboating after the play is embarrasing. All the player did on the play was his job. If it was an exceptional play, a hand shake or pat on the back should suffice. Both teams and the fans know what happened so there's no need for "see me " theacrtics. I'm sick of it.

It doesn't surprise me one bit. The discipline and culture that were instilled all those years under Saban seems to have been washed away in eight months. We've got offensive players grinding and dancing in the end zone after scoring like they're fricking chippendale's, defensive players talking crap after giving up an 8 yd run. Totally embarrassing.

I guess we are all selectively remembering the last Saban years

The same folks who punched a hole in their walls over a game they didnt play in are the same ones saying Moore should get severe punishment obviously acting out his own frustration and embarrassment.

When has that ever been football? The dances may change but the celebration has always been there.
