I would have given Mack a series or two either way.

I am not sure how people are jumping to that conclusion

I thought the same thing in real time. Lloyd picked him up quick.

His head coach has had one for three years now.

I don’t think he had a concussion but he should have come out for the rest of that series. Something wasn’t right and you could see it…even the ref saw it.

I don't think so. I got two concussions playing & there's no way in hell I could get right up & start barking out calls. Getting a concussion is more "Where am I? Why am I laying here & why is everyone staring at me? Oh shite I'm in a football game."

That handoff on 4th down was way off. Plus he looked shell-shocked as well. I was hoping they'd bring in Mack for the next series or two.

I don't want to make excuses but this seems to check out. The next play he turns the wrong direction which show he is completely rocked.

Again this is on KDB and Grubb. Your QB is obviously impacted. Why not get Mack in, set up heavy and just run right at them.. no delay, no trick just straight shot?

Why not? Because it’s DeBoer and Grubb and they like cute shite. It’s who they are. I can’t stand either one of them but this is what we have now. Bring in the elephant package. And add ford to it and just smash for some damn yards. Set the tone

It’s clear at this point Grubb will never do this consistently

Maybe... I'm not so sure.

Had the same but both were substantially different. One, no one knew right away and I played for several downs, just remembering it was difficult to concentrate on any assignment.

But on the other, you're right. "why is everyone staring at me" turned out to me assembled in the opponents huddle.

i'm almost sure that a successful run play literally pisses grubb off and he'd rather go three and out 5 times in a row throwing than drive down the field running.
