But Jalen is just a humble kid! Trust me! We hang out all the time!

Remember that face. Cost us the greatest coach of all time and a wasted 2024 season. F Milroe.

Nah, NIL did that. Saban had every opportunity to bench Milroe, but couldn't do it either because the team was holding him hostage.

No doubt.

What pisses me off the most about that whole exchange is that at that time, all Jalen had done is win the SEC yet he acted like he had already become a legend. Winning the SEC is a nice accomplishment but it’s the minimum for literally every QB we’ve had since 2007.

Saying that the day before the damn Rose Bowl was a window into the kind of person Jalen is. He cares more about press clippings. McElroy has said as much.

I’ve said this before and I stand by it considering the person that told it to me is close to Saban. Jalen was one of the players who came into his office days after that game and demanded more money. We now know that group was what pushed Saban over the edge.

He got incredibly lucky on the fourth and 31 play. What would the perception of him be if that pass had fallen short or he had been sacked ? I don’t think that he would have been the starter this season. Just an opinion. He wanted the Heisman after that game. Such an idiot.

I disagree. He knew after USF last year he was "all time qb".

Saban surrendered his control of the team in 2020 once he marched. Players knew who was running the show after that.

Well that's dumb political garbage masquerading as a reason. Players loved him for doing that.

BLM was some low class, marxist, racist shite. Saban was a dumb to march.

March was the start of transfer of power from coaches to players. Milroe capitalized on ideas related to the march to become the winner of the locker room don’t forget. Saban never would say he was the best QB but that he had won the team. Last night was when not if.
