I know that's the speculation but I haven't seen a confirmation, and I'm not going to assume he can't go unless I see it confirmed. I think I read somewhere that malzahn said he could have gone back in last game in an emergency.

Did you see...?

Gus Malzahn said midday Wednesday running back Tank Bigsby and offensive linemen Brodarious Hamm and Alec Jackson are still slowed by injury.

Will they play in the Iron Bowl on Saturday? "Right now, it's questionable for all three." LINK

The only trick play I can remember Gus running that truly hurt us was in the 09 IB.

I liked the RPO with Marshall where they had a linemen 12 yards downfield and scored a TD.

I just hope it's not "run up the middle for 8 yards a pop."

Not much of a gimmick play but they better watch those wheel routes and anything else involving our linebackers

He ran the fumblerooskie against Alabama when he was the coordinator at Arkansas.

They seem to always try the reverse or double reverse

I agree, until I see Tank in Street clothes... I have him on the starting line up... Cannot trust gussie a minute... anything he can do for an advantage, he will try... Will probably keep Nix on the field for every punt play... try flea flickers every other series. half back passes, TE draws, using the refs for screen passes. having guys feign injuries 4-5 times during the game.

Gus will just run his normal offense which is confusing enough for our defense.

Not really trick plays, but it is against Bama: I see lots of TE involvement in the passing game and some well timed wheel routes to the kid that replaced Bigsby. I do think Gus will try some type of double pass or something to get Schwartz loose behind the secondary.

I put the Over/Under of sugar huddles at 8.

Fully expect an onsides kick or something early from Gus as he tries to get our staff out of a comfort zone.
