fan flag was neutral....could easily be trolling....just thought it was pertinent to this discussion since Boz seems to think Kiffin is out as well....

and I thought Kiffin was locked up till end of February?

After reading Teddys post on BOL I'm more apt to believe some version of it. He is generally pretty on target.

Clicking around a couple of Bama boards and reading some version of it on all of it...who knows.....may be some negative feedback loop

That's what I read as well. Personally, I've expected Kiffin to be gone after this year since the summer. Sark coming in only reaffirmed that more for me. I thought he would be leaving as an OC, but I could see Saban telling him to pack his bags as well.

It's not crazy to think that Kiffin is out the door....whats crazy its before the playoffs....you would think he would stick around and see it through like Kirby did.....but who knows.....in Nick We Trust.

Apparently, per Teddy in that thread, the Kirby thing last year did not go very smoothly, and Saban doesn't trust Kiffin like he trusted Kirby.

Luckily Sark is plugged in and up to speed, but man welcome back to college football. No pressure or anything (even scarier).

More so the quality of the prep and tension with Pruitt, who had a different idea of how to attack Clemson. Kirby tried his best, apparently, but it wasn't a great situation.

Again, totally taken from someone else on another board, but someone who is generally dead on.

I have read some other posters like TerryP and the guys on RTB (who seems to be on point) saying Kiffin is still toxic to ADs as far as head coaching gigs go....his pitch to the market hasn't been well received....if he has worn out his welcome in Tuscaloosa maybe going to LSU isn't too far fetched......just totally speculating here....

Freshwater has that alimony and child support nut to make....if Ogeron has a commitment from LSU to get him to $2MM or thereabouts, then I guess he takes it?

That sounds like a helluva combustible situation down there if all this goes down

It will be a wild ride for sure.....assuming it happens, there is just no way that is going to end well......they may win some games but it won't end well.

Makes sense if the boss makes it clear it's time to move on.

His options must be more limited than we thought.

I bet Saban hates this behind the line of scrimmage offense, I know I do . Although you can't ague with his results. However I believe Saban would like to run more of the west coast offense, with an actual route tree that is down the field , instead of behind the line of scrimmage.

I've said they whole time that Saban's control and structure is all that keeps him from going full Freshwater.

If he winds up at LSU under O, it will be a disaster.

But it will be entertaining as hell to watch from our POV.

Of course i could be wrong, but i do NOT think this is happening. The most logical option is almost always the one that is chosen.

Kiffin has the entire (national championship?) offense returning which sets him up perfectly for a huge job next season(if not this season).

It's not a lateral move, it's a move down.

I don't care how big a friend O is. It's an incredibly poor career change. No way it happens.
