Not at all. Its about numbers. There will not ever be a significant number of kids on the team that like Kid Rock. The number of potential Kid Rock fans is so small, it will never be worth the association as he is incredibly unpopular to the majority of kids and parents we will be recruiting.

If anything, pretending that racism doesnt exists and doesnt have an impact on things is either racist itself or knowingly turning a blind eye to racism which is at a minimum equally as bad. You are whichever one you are, both are abhorrent.

While true, Biden was the one who made it mandatory for government employees.
We lost a lot of good people in the military due to this "policy."

I haven't and don't turn a blind eye on racism. I work to overcome it I just dont inject it into every conversation. Everything doesn't have to be about race. This conversation could have been had without it.
You want to argue his lyrics then I can agree that one line is a bad look. I don't think you'll have anyone say underage sex is ok.
So we should only want stars that 100% of our players like? This may be a shock to you but we have players that like rock n roll, metal, rap, country, and every other genre out there. There will always be. To limit ourselves in any way is detrimental to the team as a whole .

My only comment for that is the military isn't really new to mandatory vaccinations. You get jabbed about eight times going through basic. You get a shot or a few depending on deployment regions.
There was nothing special about following every vaccine mandate except that one. Especially with the Roosevelt incident.
Same schtick as when the DOD pulled back flu vaccines then started reversing course this year after a few hundred got sick at Lackland.
Dying on the cross over one shot of a dozen didn't do any good for anyone, especially given the context at the time.
