Sugar Bowl will probably look at LSU because they play in the Championship game.

Assuming LSU loses to Georgia, don't think they will be ranked high enough for a ny6 bowl

doesn’t matter. With Golding we would be poorly prepared if we played a peewee team running the Notre Dame box.

I don’t believe it’s all on Golding and schemes. The DL is subpar in talent and they lack the 1st round alpha they’re used to having in place.
Another thing I’ve noticed is none of these guys have good instincts and most seem to have a low football IQ.
I see guys running straight into blockers, taking bad angles and waiting for the ball carrier to run into them. I also see no gang tackling and I especially “love” it when one our guys barrels the ball carrier forward past the 1st down marker or endzone.
In the secondary, it looks like our guys are actually scared to touch the ball.

Not so sure he wouldn’t play. Saban is good about getting players to play. But yes I think we could.

Selection would be Georgia-Alabama-Tennessee-LSU in that order. I think Tennessee probably ends up with a NY6, but if they don't LSU is in the conference-selected bowls

Assuming a 9-4 LSU...

Rose: Ohio State vs Washington
Orange: Clemson/UNC vs Alabama/Tennessee
Sugar: Kansas State vs Alabama/Tennessee
Cotton: Tulane vs Penn State

LSU getting embarrassed bumps us up from the Orange (probably still against Clemson) to the Sugar against KSU

Assuming LSU doesn't upset UGA of course.

Then, UGA is likely still in the CFPs and LSU to the Sugar Bowl. Then, I get to watch Bama in Miami.

Unlikely, yes. But, I'm holding out hope. No interest in watching an all orange Clemson (assuming no UNC upset of CU) vs UTk (sans Hooker) Orange Bowl.

Sugar Bowl has to take the highhest ranked SEC team in the playoffs. Bama will be ahead of 4 loss LSU and 2 loss Tennessee.

Bama will murder Kansas St, even without Young, Anderson and Gibbs.

Who have we obliterated this year that makes you say this?

Miss State is the only decent team we have looked good against, and that’s because air raid teams are the best matchup for our defense.

Kansas State beat a bowl eligible SEC team 40 to 6.

I think we’d beat Kansas State, but there is no evidence our bunch would obliterate any good team.

I don’t see is obliterating anyone with Milroe or Simpson taking the snaps in this years bowl game.

The bowl reps show up to be wined and dined by the AD and President to discuss specifics of the bowl (payout, mandatory tickets, etc) and what the best fit would be.

It’s basically my dream retirement job.

Not much of a difference, but 40-12. Over a 6-6 Mizzou team early in the year. A 28 point win over a team that Tennessee beat by 42 points a couple of games later. Having said that, I agree we'll likely have our hands full if Bryce and Will don't play. Especially since this bowl will be like a Super Bowl to Kansas State, not so much for Bama. They probably won't have any players sit out the game. We may be lucky if we don't have more than just Bryce and Will opt out.
