ultimate team win. some kids showed up tonight in ways that won't make the highlight reels...
I had to look up Justin Hill. I didn't expect his number to be called and neither did he. He had no idea what he was doing and played his butt off anyway.
Edric Hiil was stout inside when we had to have it. Ok he blown off the ball a time two, but he did just enough to keep the LBs clean.
How about Dijon Lee. Kinda been on the shelf for a bit. I think they finally figured out we were getting beat up on the edge in run support. What a physical kid.

Alot of of the front 7 got washed in the trash multiple times tonight.
As mentioned earlier poor eye discipline and gap assignment was the culprit.

Watching our linebackers is a depressing thing.
Go back and watch how often 10 and 0 hesitate to hit their gaps, how many times 0 takes himself out of a play by just bumping into either his own linemen or an offensive lineman, then have to take a crazy angle just to try to catch up.
Having Bray cheat down and play as a sort of “half linebacker” helped some. 41(?) played pretty good. But 0 and 10 consistently take themselves out of plays. It’s maddening.

I said this week 41 will play more and he did. Kid sheds blocks and is a good LB ,and we will need him bigly moving forward.
I wish all the teams are like Kirby's because we match up perfectly with them.
This Saturday will be a huge test for us. Stop that power QB crap then we are off to the races, but with Kane that's going to be a tough ask

We lost contain over and over and over last night. Not sure why this keeps happening repeatedly every game.
We had a lot of guys who played hard but the harsh reality is we desperately need some big time DT/DE types. Guys who are either already 300 lbs or close to it.

Well Joka, they better figure out those gap assignments in a hurry because Vandy and Pavia are coming to town and they are going to put pressure right on the weak points of this defense: setting the edge and gap integrity. They need to get their shite together and Womack needs to get his head out of his arse and figure it out but I have little faith he can do that. The offense is going to have to play keep away again and score on nearly every possession.
