I think he still counts against Clemson's because he hasn't been given a medical hardship scholarship as far as I know, but if they haven't cleared him soon that seems like an inevitability.

You are right about the 85, I forget at what point it doesn't count, 2 or 3 years or whatever. I was talking about the 25 though. Why tie up a spot there that you could use on a transfer with no medical concerns or may impact you being able to count back the 3 schollys you are allowed is what I was referencing.
