Why do you assume it is an attention thing? Because it's Milroe?
There's plenty of on the field stuff to dog him for, but what he does as a pregame ritual, which is very common, shouldn't be one.
As far as I'm concerned, anyone praying to an imaginary sky daddy is performative in general. Though it is a person's right, and I absolutely respect it.

I don't like the way he kneels. He should kneel on both knees, not one. We need a QB that can kneel correctly so that Deboer can get this offense rolling.

Milroe is a show me guy, it’s all good except when you are trying to be QB. He’d do good on reality tv. Maybe the bachelor. Also would be a great politician. Might even be a great coach.
