Yeah but I was told he left Deboer a roster that the 72 Dolphins would envy..
LSU fans love to make up narratives like this. Like the narrative that the '19 Tide was actually better than the '20 Tide which is utterly ludicrous.
I'd say 80% of their fanbase is pure toxic human beings. I mean other fanbases have these types too but just more concentrated there in the swamps.
They're not just like this with sports but in all facets of their lives.

I don't know...I think you usually develop NFL level talent, not recruit it. We were plagued with some pretty mediocre coaches in those last few years. Plus, Saban went soft around 2020.
The odds of a five star going in the first round are 1 in 5.
The odds of a four star going in the first are 1 in 29.
The odds of a three star going in the first are 1 in 143.
So it most definitely is not true that it is developed not recruited.

Luckily they’re actively trying to poison their lands and God himself is trying to swallow up the rest. God willing there will be no more of them by the end of the century.

All great points, and let’s also not forget the busts on the offensive line. Alex Leatherwood was a reach for the Raiders in the first round, and they cut him after one season. Evan Neal finally got released by the Giants the other day. They’re calling him the biggest bust in Giants history. Quite frankly, they were never really that good here. It was all based on potential.

Dumbest and most delusional fanbase in all of sports and that is saying something.

Exactly.
I think the guys doing the evals during the peak run got poached and promoted which weren’t replaced with people of equal competency.
Happened first on the OL, then the skill positions fell off and we were running on fumes by the time it ended.
Defense was different because that was Saban’s forte but the offense was a problem.

Sabans age started to effect his abilities to recruit and the Coaches he could hire. That was the main reason he retired. Players and coaches wanted assurance he was gonna be there and he couldn’t give it to them

Justice Haynes averaged 7 YPC last season with Michigan before blowing out his knee. He’s chasing a bag, but by no means is he a bust

Kirby had no answer for Aaron Murray or Johnny Manziel in 2012.
