I don’t know how folks feel about him but he makes some interesting points and I am sharing this for discussion purposes because that’s what you do on a discussion board LOL.

Update: This is the complete version of what he said about us this morning, not the snippet I found on Twitter.

That's essentially my perspective on why we shouldn't be buying all the FUD from haters and losers.

We've kept almost everyone we'd like to keep and lost the ones we wanted to keep to the NFL draft. None of our portal losses were surprises or tragedies. We have not lost Ryan Williams. Pulled Mbakwe out of the portal which shows that the staff was high on his ability and receptive to moving him to WR. Portal has been almost entirely about adding depth to supplement who we've already got on campus not looking for top line of the depth chart guys.

It’s cold enough outside, don’t need any extra blood chilling.

Outside of Devonta Smith and Oronkwo I’m not disappointed about any of the portal losses.

If we get a QB who can run the offense at a high level and a RT we will be competing for championships next year.

D. Smith was a personal foul waiting to happen. Glad he left.

So was our captain Malachi Moore, I think that was a cultural issue rather than a player problem.

I think some lowest common denominator fans truly thought that Saban created a perpetual motion joyless murderball machine that would continue unchecked until the end of time regardless of whether the faces, including the head coach, changed.

I don’t like what happened this year, but at some point maybe we will look at it as a necessary year to make the break from Nick Saban, which has to happen for this program to move forward.

Wonder what HE meant by saying BAMA was held hostage by the qb position?

You can read it positively or negatively and the truth of the matter it is all the same: QB was not a scheme fit but he was a roster fit.

Yeah, I guess I'm saying he may not mean it with as negative of a connotation as some would read it (the grand LANK conspiracy). That's all I'm suggesting. It arrives to the same place: Jalen Milroe is your QB. So does it really matter how he got there?

I don't disagree. I didn't think he was being rayciss or condemning LANK. It's just interesting to see people tiptoe through conversations about Milroe.

I'm not accusing you of this per se but there's an unquenchable need for people to prove to others they aren't racist.

It ain't racist to say the guy can't play quarterback at a high level. I've said the same about Cooper Bateman and Tyler Buchner. I thought Jacob Coker was the biggest moron I'd ever seen play quarterback at Alabama until around midseason when they found a groove with him.

Couldn't agree more. I didn't like AJ all that much, but he was the right guy for the job. That's for damn sure.

I like Pate but I’m pretty sure he is dating an Bama Alum? He has been compromised.
