Yeah well, "Why would 'Waddle' be pronounced 'wah-dell'?" is kind of a goofy question.
Why would Terrell Davis pronounce his name with the emphasis on the 2nd syllable and Terrell Owens pronounces his with the emphasis on the first syllable.
Why does the sun go on shining? Why does the sea rush to shore? Why is this boil on my arse so damn irritating?

I was unaware that they pronounced their names differently. Even if, that doesn't really prove a point.
