The defense immediately shitting the bed after a game tying or go ahead score in the 4th quarter has been a given under Frodo. Honestly the only reason our defense looked halfway competent at times in 2020 was because that offense was going to score if they needed to score no matter how many times they needed to score, so 2-3 stops in a game would result in a blowout.

This is why i stopped fighting on this board about what was wrong:
A- a lot was wrong
B- The entire board convinced it was all BoBs fault
C- it was easy to see it was more Frodos fault.

Even after the Tennessee game where it became so obvious no matter what the O did it couldnt overcome our shite D- this board still going on and on about BoB.

They both gotta go, but Pete Golding will be the end of this dynasty if he stays.

There's also Brian Johnson, Bo Wallace, Trevor Knight, Stephen Garcia, Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee in 2010, Cardelle Jones (who was 3rd string for Ohio State), and many others. But sure, keep pretending it never happened when Kirby was here. I don't care much for Golding one way or the other but are fans have a very selective memory.

People need to vent, where do you suggest they go? To the rant where people make fun of them or here where they are supposed to be among like minded people?

I agree but tend to think both should still go. I get a Nussmeier vibe off of BoB.

Johnson and Knight were both in Sugar Bowls where the team didn't put in much effort by Saban's own account. Garcia played like Tom Brady that day, no defense would have slowed him down. Jefferson and Lee in 2010 had 24 points. That's like Golding at his absolute best. I really can't think of a time that Golding has managed anything better than that against an opponent with a pulse. Cardale Jones was a better quarterback than JT Barrett, who was Ohio State's starter, but he wasn't the reason that game went as it did - it was all Ezekiel Elliott. Bama's defense didn't play well in those games, but I guarantee every one of those opponents would have had more yards and points against a Golding defense. Smart had some poor defensive performances, but that's all Golding ever has.

If I remember correctly...in the last two years, the national championship game is the only game where Bryce / offense has walked to the sideline trailing.
