i like this bama team...there is something about them I haven't seen in other bama teams...they have an edge and a level of nastiness that makes me feel good about the outcome of the NC game.

I'm loving it!

I watched the replay of last year's NCG last night. Our D-front is so much faster and more agressive now.

ESPN | Alabama's 'other' coordinator makes his mark

Nick Saban gets credit for the defense. Lane Kiffin and Steve Sarkisian get the headlines. But defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt has made his mark on the Tide's most dominant unit...

In my prime, I could not even sniff half of what Reuben has become. I would likely look like an exploded deer on the interstate that got slammed by a big rig. Hopefully, there wouldn't be much pain though.

That's not true.

Vegas lost their arse last week because everyone and their brother had Alabama giving points and Clemson.

MGM President described the NYE fray as a blood bath.

If you have been watching ESPN this morning, you wouldn't even know we were playing in the game. Its all pro-Clemson. All the analysts are picking Clemson. You wouldn't know we were on a 26 game winning streak.

I hope all of you are right.

I'm nervous about Hurts' ability to pass against them. They'll look to force him to throw and with the Kiffin exit, as positive as I feel like it is, could be disastrous for such a short period of time to prepare with Sark.

Defense should take care of business. Watson is the only QB that I feel could hurt Bama. He makes throws that no other QB could make. His precision and accuracy are by far the biggest challenge Bama will have faced all season.

I'm thinking(hoping) Bama 24-20.

Last week, I thought things favored Clemson and we were going to have a long night and probably come out on the short end of a close one, maybe a missed FG late ices it for Clemson. Then the media blitz began. And reports surfaced that Clemson showed up cocky and confident. Good! Go ahead and piss off this defense! They were going to frick you up as it was. Now they are going to frick you up, scrape up the greasy spot you left, and frick you up again.

I am concerned about the offense, but I think Sark is the X factor and can throw things at Clemson they aren't prepared for. At the worst, they have no tendencies to lean on. At best, he's got Jalen calmed down and ready to take throws to open receivers, not scared to throw it anywhere. Now I think the odds favor Bama. We are going to bitch-slap these boys.

I'm not as confident as others here. Clemson has a good defense and of course we know about their QB.

However, after looking at their schedule I don't see many impressive wins except for the OSU game - and they also have a very bad loss.

Any comparisons on them vs Bama statwise?

i honestly think Hurts comes out and thrashes them with his throws. i think he becomes the #1 heisman contender after tonight. you heard it here first.

I, Teague, also think he'll have a good night passing.

Lucky you. I, Bamaboy, have a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. Whether it's nerves or a legit bad feeling about the game, I am not sure. But it sucks

I like that most of the pundits are picking Clemson. Gives us a mental edge. Not sure we'll win it--and I'm about to puke waiting for the game.

I haven't even thought about the game today.

I had a super busy day at work, one kid got an All A's report card, and the other kid got his first college acceptance letter today - Go Troy Trojans!

Now that I've sat down and starting looking at the internet, I too feel like I'm going to puke.

One of the most impressive players we've ever played. Not only did he not flinch against us, the guy rarely made a mistake in two games on the biggest stage. Tip of the hat to that guy.

Not sure how any QB could be rated higher than him in the draft.

Yeah, I wonder if Alabama will ever have that type of QB. It's been the one position where we've been meh-to-good, but never elite.
