I know we are working the passing game but I have never saw our running game this bad under coach.

It will not be a long year with this defense, that I assure you, chicken little.

In truth we haven't really tried to run the ball. We've been slinging it through the air all game long.

I guess you missed Tulane in 2008?

You know, where Bama had about 100 yards on the ground?

Oh yeah, by the way Bama did not lose a regular season game that year.

Bama had 103 rushing yards against WKU in 2012. Rest of the season was fine.

Classic example of playing down to your competition.

We do it at least once a season. Usually the second game.

Been a lot of passing this first two games , especially for a true freshman . I think it's been live fire practice for hurts or whoever would have won the starting job . I think we'll see a bigger commitment to the run going forward ,

It was blatantly obvious they were trying to give Hurts reps. Run game will be fine.

The run game doesn't worry me too much, because I think if we enter a game set on trying to run it, we will be able to. That wasn't the plan today obviously.

The penalties are what worry me. Our offense has become more explosive with Kiff, but it is also much more penalized than when Mac/Nuss were here. We seem out of sorts frequently at the LOS, and having young quarterbacks trying to manage things is only going to make that worse. Hopefully we can clean it up.

Wait till are boys start them criss cross blocking schematics and pulling 'round and all that mess. Holes gone open up believe that.

Our interior line has played like crap both games and that's a fact. The fact they are still trying different combinations is a bad thing heading into SEC road play. Hope they get it sorted out but our guard play has been a massive disappointment thus far. Cotton was supposed to be a mauler but he gets no push, Piersh is a returning starter and he's getting beat off the line. Tons of penalties, overall garbage performance from interior OL...for a second straight week.

Defense is great, special teams is fine but offense has a long way to go.

We were testing some stuff this game: we needed an answer at QB and we have it. People need to stop worrying about this game... Next week we will have a better answer. If we still can't run then we can freak out.

I do think there's way more in the playbook than we've shown so far, just because we haven't needed to.

The GOAT offensive line looked like shite versus WKU in 2012.
