At the beginning of the season, I was mentally preparing myself for a potentially 2-3 loss team and trying to not get my hopes of being in playoff contention this year, since the QB position was iffy and uncertain, and the team just being "young" and rebuilding.
But... now I feel like Bama is so close to having another undefeated season in their clutches.
Yet, it's still such a long road and now Auburn is doing that thing again where they could potentially ruin everything for Bama in the Iron Bowl.

But, there's a huge part of me that still believes in this Bama team and what they can do.
Anybody else have a feeling we've got it in the bag, or is everybody starting to feel apprehensive about the Iron Bowl coming up?

I'm with you. I want it bad too.

I feel better about our chances with Auburn after seeing them struggle against Vandy.

If they lose to UGA and if we beat mSU do we clinch the west?

Yes, but UGA has no pulse.

Yea. Auburn is the only remaining one loss SEC west team. An Auburn loss + a win at Mississippi State clinches it.

I feel this way too, but it AU didn't look good at all against Vandy at home. That, along with the fact that White and their two leading backs are dinged up suggests that there is a SLIGHT (as in maybe 1 in 10) chance UGA can compete.

Even then it depends on them protecting Eason. If they can, he will have some success against the AU. If they can't, UGA has no chance even if AU has to rely on Netflix Cam.

If we run the table and finish undefeated, will Saban decide to retire?

Nope. He needs seven titles.

Like TS said, needs to win 7 plus the opportunity to go for a 3-peat.

I'd like for his goal to be at least 10

I think Saban rides the Hurts train on out. He will retire after Hurts leaves, in 2-3 years.
