Make him wide receivers coach or something. He is an elite recruiter, he knows how to motivate players and was the second most enthusiastic coach on the sideline all year next to Cochran. I think he fell in love with Alabama and in turn I have grew a soft spot for the man and hope to see him on the sideline next year.

Not sure if he would make it at OL but TE or WR would work out imo. I think he is too valuable to let him go to Maryland.

i too, have softened up on old butch. watching him on the sidelines, having a blast with the players, was kool to see. it was strange at first, but then i would actually look for him.

wr's coach would proly suit him and the team best. but thats jmo.

Every time the camera shows him during the games he is smiling or giving a player what looks to be up beat advice. Would be nice to hold on to him for another year. Then hope he becomes head coach at a smaller school where football is something players do for fun then graduate.

Butch Jones isn't qualified to coach OL and I have some doubts about elite WR or TE recruits being favorably influenced by an opportunity to be coached up by Butch Jones.

Irv Smith was not considered elite and he turned out okay. There are so many guys who are not elite that become develop over time.

Enthusiastic , high energy, players like him , he's bought in to the process. What's not to like?

Butch is a good guy and it’s hard to say anything negative about him. If we keep him I’ll be happy and I do hope he finds success no matter where he may or may not go.

Player development was turrible at UT under Butch Jones and his staff. Imo, he's a fraud as a coach -- and a disingenuous clown.
