The man is the best college football coach that has ever lived. I cannot envision his accomplishments ever being equaled. I'm 57 years old and count myself blessed to have witnessed his coaching career and his impact on your program. He represented not only Alabama, but the entirety of College Football with class and integrity his entire tenure. As impossible a task as it may seem, I hope Alabama is successful in hiring a fitting successor as it seems to me that the truism: "What's good for Alabama is good for football" exists. May God continue to bless each of you and your loved ones as you go forward.

Coaches like Saban, Spurrier are better for the league. They make your program hire better coaches. The Sec has benefited from him being at Bama. I'm not sad to see him leave he has accomplished a lot and I've been lucky to have watched it.

Thanks Dawg.
The Sabans did so much for our community too. He will be missed.
I really like seeing him and Kirby chatting before SECCG. Kirby showed so much appreciation in those few moments and appeared to get a little emotional. Told me a lot about the impact that Saban had on him.
