There are no real large cities in Alabama, so violent crime probably should not be 3-4 times the National average.

Now I know you're trolling. Huntsville is 60% larger than the biggest city in the state where you live, and you're trying to compare data to a bunch of tiny rural towns with 2,000 people (which, ironically, is where you pretended you wanted to live). You need to take your bullshite somewhere else.

I’m just very concerned about the crime now and if I should move there.

You shouldn't. Huntsville is a horrible place full of horrible people. You'd hate it there.

Yeah man. Not sure if you can’t spell lookout or if you are just a big fan of Samuel Bryan, but I really hope people like you and the Chimp don’t live in Huntsville.

Yeah, I probably should not have done that. It was wrong. It just pissed me off that I was in a serious discussion with some folks on this board trying to get some advice on a good location to live in Huntsville and then that BS happens. I posted while I was pissed and probably shouldn’t have.

The area generally from Governor’s Drive north to Alabama A&M University. It’s well known to anybody familiar with Huntsville in the last 40 years that this area has more crime and lower property values. I will leave the rest to your imagination.

Wrong..but you tried

The Northeast section of Huntsville near A&M is actually pretty decent a lot of the wealthier AA live on that side of the city

But since you love to generalize everything....i think you meant NW Huntsville...I hate people.

There are several communities in N Hsv that are top notch, but unwilling to share with some of you with fear of bringing your ignoramus selves to these communities. We don't want you.

But it’s a well known fact that north of downtown on either side of 231/Memorial Parkway up to Drake Tech and A&M is the hood and rundown part of town. Anyone who says different is being politically correct.

Look at me. I'm an idiot
