How much playing time do true freshmen play this week ?

This is a big week for the program. All of the starters looked like absolute garbage yesterday other than Bernard. Ty was bad, the defensive line and offensive line were atrocious. If we get some of the freshmen in the game and they perform better than what we saw yesterday, does that make the staff hit a reset button going forward ? DeBoer is going to have to make changes this week or this season is going to go south very quickly.

I would imagine quite a few of the younger guys see action next week as should be expected when playing a cupcake. I also forsee alot of stupid crane kick celebrations and chest thumping over beating a team like ULM. As for the season going South, train left the station yesterday.

Frankly, I would bench Proctor and start either TF Jackson Lloyd or Michael Carroll in his spot. So tired of seeing Proctor’s fat arse getting beat over and over.

Formby was not great yesterday either. What do we have to lose at this point ? I would play Lloyd and Carroll a lot this week to gauge where we are. If they show us a lot in meaningful play then we should consider putting them out there more as the season progresses. Also the back up quarterbacks need playing time. Ty was not good enough yesterday.

Nothing will change until after the UGA game. Like everything else, they will be given time to "adjust" and find their footing. We better get our minds prepared for two more weeks of this at least.

We always seem to recruit big Ol who can’t pass block. But the thing is proctor isn’t even a consistent run blocker. Just big for nothing
