“Heisman moment” might be the most BS phrase that has ever been invented. It’s not enough to just be the best player anymore. You also have to be the best player on a team that struggles so that you can have some magical miracle moment with the Friday Night Lights music playing behind you.

If Saban was really serious about Tua winning, he would have let Auburn get a 3 TD lead in the second half so that Tua could have a heisman moment where he lead us to a win.

I think Murray will win it comfortably.

Honestly, if Tua didn't shite the bed the first half of the Georgia game I think he would have won a close one. He is still the best player in football when healthy but he played hurt half the year or it wouldn't have even been close. Since it is close he needed a big game in Atlanta and didn't get it. It is what it is.

Yeah I’m just gonna change the channel when they announced the winner. If Tua does win I’ll flip it over and actually watch

Tua was the overwhelming favorite all year until after championship weekend. Doesn’t look good going off these betting lines.

I think Murray wins but it's very, very close due to Tua getting majority 2nd place votes and 2nd most 1st place votes.

If Tua doesn't win our D will look to beat the ever loving mess out of Murray, just to prove a point.

Yeah it won't be all that close, imo.

Unfortunately I have to agree. Even the people on SECN who had a vote were torn. Just imagine how easy it is for the rest of the country to vote for him.

Tua will have next year, and our defense will sure as shite be up from jump 12/29

Next year is no given either. I imagine Trevor Lawrence will have big time numbers and there is always a big time qb that comes out of nowhere. Probably whoever OU’s next qb is tbh

Murray wins by a small margin. Not razor thin but small relative to other winners.

I heard Gino Toretta day something today that I've been saying all week...and he's the only media guy I've heard say it: watch the 2nd and 3rd place votes. The guy who gets the most 1st place votes may not win it.

Minshew can actually help Tua out west. Need lots of ballots out there to look like this:

1. Tua or Minshew
2. Minshew or Tua
3. Haskins or Murray

And Tua needs to be #2 on most of the ballots that have Haskins and Murray 1st.

See I just don’t know if tua gets that many 2nd place votes for the guys voting Haskins 1. So I just don’t think that willl be enough

Is this the Heisman in game thread?

Here’s some of my good luck juju. He’s about to win this thing!

Add in Harry in houndstooth for extra good vibes!
