Grubbs, why does he call the dumbest plays at times?

He literally pulled two olinemen and then had our running back run to the side they pulled from? Did he think Ga was gonna be fooled? There were 3 guys there waiting for 13.

We are running the ball good and he calls a screen to 13 that everyone in the world knew thats where the ball was going to. Did any screen work tonight?

We line 40 up wide like he's gonna catch a ball with a broken hand.

If he was anywhere else with limited talent his team would have a losing record.

Nothing wide was working, Power and counter was. Run right at them. We get that pick in their territory and then get cute ending up punting,

I thought the 3rd and 4 pass call with less than four minutes left that resulted in a sack was a stupid call. The sack took us out of field goal range and we were running the ball successfully. That call cost us the game before the unsportsmanlike penalty on 5.

He abandons what is working and tries to get cute. It makes zero sense and is incredibly frustrating. Georgia saw weakness (Lee and the trenches) and attacked those areas. We are just random as all get out.

Grubbs can make a good call every now and then, but there are two problems with him; (1) he has no feel for the rhythm of the game and no tendency to stay with what is working, and (2) most of all, what frustrates me Saturday after Saturday with him, it’s all of the calls of his slow developing long routes. Whenever Georgia is getting through the line that fast, my God, call at least one quick hitter or hot route.

A few plays to get Crowell in space were set up to fail.

Georgia defense had it drilled into them to key on Crowell getting the ball in space so they were watching him more than their offensive line keys.

Same thing on that wide pass to him that blew up where he got his helmet pulled off.

You could perhaps add the TD run to those examples as well but he just evaded the tackles anyway.

as i told my brother during the game. bama's offense played scared. uga's defense was in grubbs and russell's heads before the game ever started.

grubb had bama playing prevent offense. as what to often happens with prevent defense, it did the opposite.

Placing #7 in the backfield to run the ball is fuking stupid. The guy has no talent for that spot.

Grubb is a West Coast prick and he needs to return. He can take all his extra small tee shirts with him at no cost.
