Sherrell and Williamson as your centers won’t win games in November through February too well either.

We will never matchup with the elite teams with size until Oats starts prioritizing defense over offense just a tad bit more than he does.

Okay performance tonight. I don’t think we need that much production from the front court, but we do need them to at least secure defensive rebounds.
We are totally reliant on Phillon or Holloway if we can’t get in transition which you can’t do if the other team is dominating you on the glass.

We need an enforcer with 20 hard minutes and 5 fouls. We will probably play small ball for most of the other 20 anyway. Williamson did not seem like the guy we needed to go with Sherrell because he’s basically another small ball center despite actually being big enough to be a man’s center.

Sherrell is a soft big. He wouldn’t even get on the ground for a loose ball.

I don’t think people are freaking out but a lot see the writing on the wall with the roster construction for march. This team will have to be scorching hot shooting in March to beat the normal big dogs. We limit ourselves to playing one way only.

Yep. Alabama will probably be a higher seed but they have no real path to winning a national title with this roster.

Aden isn’t going to average 1-8 from 3 all season, for example.

The bad part is most of the fans were skeptical of the front court in the offseason but our coach is so enamored by threes he forgot a big has to be able to rebound and block shots. We went from Nelson and Bediako to Sherrell and Williamson. Horrible front court.

67 others will have that chance too, we will fall in the bucket of with a lot of them and will need to be blazing hot. The real good teams do not have to be and can win multiple ways.
